Thu, September 24, 2026

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) extended its recent upward trend in late July following a robust second-quarter 2026 earnings report and rapid expansion of AI-focused partnerships, reinforcing its position in enterprise software.

On July 22, ServiceNow reported Q2 2026 subscription revenue of $3.877 billion, growing 24.5% year-over-year (23% in constant currency), and total revenue of $3.987 billion, up 24% year-over-year (22.5% in constant currency). The company also reported current remaining performance obligations (cRPO) of $13.20 billion, a 21% increase year-over-year (21.5% constant currency), and total RPO of $29.0 billion, up 21% (22% constant currency). Notably, ServiceNow crossed $1 billion in annual contract value for its AI offerings in Q2. The strong results were accompanied by raised full-year subscription revenue guidance.

The same day, ServiceNow highlighted expanded AI collaborations, notably an agentic AI governance extension from desktops to data centers in partnership with NVIDIA, under “Project Arc,” integration of AI Control Tower into NVIDIA’s Enterprise AI Factory validated design, extended AI Control Tower governance across Microsoft’s Agent 365 platform, and exceeding $1 billion in AWS Marketplace transactions, further deepening its AI platform footprint.

Investors responded positively: ServiceNow stock surged more than 8% on Monday following the earnings, substantially outperforming the broader technology sector as investors responded to growing AI adoption and raised guidance.

Why It Matters

The earnings beat underscores strong foundation and accelerating AI traction, with AI now a material contributor to contract value—crossing the $1 billion ACV threshold signals AI making up a meaningful share of revenue growth. The expanded partnerships with AI infrastructure leaders like NVIDIA, Microsoft and AWS strengthen ServiceNow’s AI infrastructure and ease enterprise adoption.

The stock’s strong post-earnings performance highlights investor enthusiasm for ServiceNow’s positioning as a governance-first AI workflow enabler across IT, security, customer service, and business operations. While sector-wide software multiples are under pressure, ServiceNow’s results and strategic alliances suggest differentiation amidst broader concerns.

Looking Ahead

Investors will be watching upcoming Q3 earnings expected in late October to assess whether subscription and AI momentum sustain. Meanwhile, execution on Project Arc, integration with enterprise AI stacks, and AI ACV growth will be key to maintaining investor confidence.

ServiceNow’s performance in Q2 2026 and strategic AI partnerships reaffirm its growing role as an AI-native enterprise workflow platform — differentiating it within enterprise software amid evolving AI adoption.
